Summary: A multi-POV story of a Nigerian mother, Kambirinachi, and her twin daughters, Taiye and Kehinde, told across three continents. When Kehinde and Taiye become disconnected after a heart-wrenching childhood experience, their lives go in different directions as they run from their demons. Kehinde tries to find her way as an artist and Taiye develops a passion for cooking, but they both separately struggle with grief, fear, and loneliness. After a decade apart, the twins return to their mother’s home in Lagos where the three women must decide how to deal with their shared past if they’re to have a better future.
